Idaho Guides: Sign up for a professional course to improve your skills, increase your knowledge, and make Idaho's backcountry experiences safer for all. We'll help you pay for it. Get details here.
Approved training courses include but are not limited to: Wilderness First Responder (WFR), Advanced Wilderness First Aid (WAFA), EMT, Swiftwater Rescue, Avalanche Safety & Awareness, and Safe Horsemanship Skills. Please inquire about other courses.

All licensed Idaho Guides and Outfitters are welcome to join us at the McCall Outdoor Science School Saturday May 18th from 1-5pm MST for free health examinations, UV screenings, wellness consultations, legal advice, and career transition assistance. Stop by for a free check up, work on your living will, and tighten up your resume! The mission of the Redside Foundation is to preserve the health and vitality of the Idaho Guiding Community by providing Idaho guides with confidential access to mental and physical healthcare professionals.
Welcome to The Redside Foundation – a non-profit organization that celebrates the profession of commercial guiding in Idaho. We seek to serve all of Idaho's seasonal guides through education, training, and engagement.
