The evening will include a short film, an overview of resources, and a chance to talk with the people doing the work. Open to any working guide or outfitter, anyone who works alongside the community, and anyone who wants to understand what local guides carry and where they can turn for support.

Every Thursday at Sunlight Sports’ Pint Night, we offer complimentary beer or non-alcoholic beverages to anyone with a Sunlight pint glass. Don't have one yet? You can purchase a limited-edition glass at the event. 100% of proceeds go directly to one of our five local nonprofit partners that get kids outside.

We’re joining the Worldwide Women of Whitewater to celebrate Carol Gardner and the incredible impact she has had on the river community over the last five decades.

What started as a passion for rivers has helped shape generations of guides, mentorship, and opportunities for women across the whitewater world. That spirit is exactly why WWoW and The Redside Foundation are coming together for this event. 💜

We’re raising support for guide health, women in whitewater, and a stronger global river community through music, food, drinks, giveaways, and one very good excuse to spend an evening with river people.

First Aid + CPR and Backcountry First Aid for Horses.

First Aid class will be held in Stanley at Mountain Village from 10am-12pm. Cost is $42.00 per person to get certified in First Aid and CPR. 24 spots available. Sign up and pay here

Backcountry First Aid for Horses with Dr. Shane Baird will begin at 2 pm at Mystic Saddle stables at Redfish Lake. This training is FREE and invaluable if you spend time in the backcountry with horses. Sign up here

Redside Roundup Film Fest 🎬🏔️  in partnership with Idaho River Sports, brings guide-made and guide inspired films to our Boise Community on the last night of Idaho Gives.  

Together we will celebrate stories from the rivers, canyons, and peaks we call home and support the health and strength of the professional outdoor guiding community

Your registration supports the Redside Foundation’s mission to care for those who are the heart of Idaho's Outdoor Recreation economy and the stewards of Idaho's rivers and mountain. All funds raised will go to support our Guide Helpline and pay for needed mental health counseling for guides.

Join us on Zoom: This month's virtual guide gathering will be happening on February 18 from 6 - 7 PM MST on zoom. We wanted to get you these dates ASAP so you can block it out in your calendar, plan any goofy outfits you may want to plan, and talk other guide friends into showing up with you.

This month we've been exploring how to show up well in our internal communities and on February 18 we'll have a chance to catch up with our favorite outdoor community members and share anything we've learned about ourselves as we explore our internal communities.

Past, present, and future guides are all welcome, as well as any partners or other supporters of outdoor professionals.

This event has been canceled - please stay tuned for a possible online option for 2022. This event will return in 2023. Dr. Shane Baird, DVM, will be returning to The Redfish Corrals to share his backcountry first aid for horses clinic on June 3rd, 11- 4:30 PM. This is a free clinic for guides who work with horses or would like to in the future. Dr. Baird will share valuable skills for dealing with common issues that can become devastating in the backcountry, such as colic, eye issues, and lacerations. You will also learn how to build a horse-specific first aid. This clinic to brought to you by Mystic Saddle Ranch, Shane Baird, DVM, and The Redside Foundation. On May 21st, our Annual Health Fair is BACK! During the Idaho River Rendezvous all guides can receive free health services including basic blood work, vaccinations, STD tests, oral cancer screenings, chiropractic care, vouchers for free IUDs and more. From 7 am to 2 pm on Saturday, May 21st.
