Providing funding for Idaho licensed guides to advance their guiding careers, guide in a new discipline, or secure guide-related employment.

The Redside Foundation Professional Development Grant is an opportunity for Idaho Guides to apply for a grant of up to $500 toward tuition for a professional training or skills course related to working as a guide or transitioning to a related career.
Courses include but are not limited to:
Wilderness First Responder, EMT, Wilderness Medicine, Swiftwater Rescue Training, Avalanche Training, Horsemanship Skills, Chef/Food Handling Training, Storytelling, AMGA, etc.
Applicants will be awarded based on need and the quality of their application.
