Clark Shimeall is a financial advisor at independent firm Bruno Mountain Advisory. From Corvallis, OR, Clark has spent most of his guiding career on the Lower, Main, and Middle Fork Salmon Rivers and the Snake River in Hells Canyon. His involvement in the guiding world is mostly through the non-profit Pandion Institute, which uses tools from the outdoor recreation world, like multiday rafting or backpacking trips, to facilitate place-based cultural, ecological, and leadership education for Native youth in the Columbia Plateau. He brings these experiences, along with his own proximity to the guide way of being, to bear in his financial advising. Clark also enjoys experiencing the landscape via foot, fin, wheel, kayak, and paraglider.
